While it is a very difficult process for a patient to decide on plastic surgery operations and they should be examined in truly competent hands, our patients are looking for places they can trust. The easiest and fastest way to do this is the internet... but how much can we trust the information and advertisements on the internet? This is the real problem.
In this article, I will try to explain to you completely objectively who or which advertisement you can trust and how.
First of all, aesthetic applications (wrinkle removal, filling, PRP, surgeries, etc.) must be performed by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. People and institutions that present themselves in the market as 'I am a medical physician or an aesthetic physician, a facial plastic surgeon, etc.' and who have no legal authority to practice seriously mislead our patients. Therefore, make sure that the person you consult is a specialist plastic surgeon or dermatologist.
Another situation, unfortunately, is people or institutions that create titles for themselves and are not actually doctors, but are just trying to take advantage of the loophole in the law. There is no such thing as an aesthetic coach, and legally, no one other than a plastic surgeon has the authority to provide information and consultancy for plastic surgeries and applications. Unfortunately, you will receive false information in such places and you can easily see that the only purpose is to sell you an application and your health is not taken into consideration.
These types of so-called title holders may appear before you with advertisements such as 'shock campaigns, event campaigns, discounts on nose surgery, discounts on breast surgery, etc.' in order to deceive and mislead you. Have you ever thought about which plastic surgeon or dermatologist tells you, "This month, there is this much discount on this surgery, this much discount on Botox?"
No surgery can have a campaign, no aesthetic application can have a campaign. Conscious patients do not allow such illusions, but unfortunately most of our society is still unconscious on this issue.
There is a certain average cost of plastic surgery surgery, and a famous person goes above it. But no plastic surgeon can give a price below the average, because in such a case the patient's health would be in danger.
Therefore, when buying a price, really look at the average prices in the market. If it is below that, there is definitely a poor quality product or missing materials being used. There are many patients who suffer from this and then have to pay much higher amounts to correct the situation.
